The Fall of Modern Drunks
The past was a better time, when at any moment, no one would admonish or control your drinking, until drunk driving rules were passed.
In the modern age, we see that the God Dionysus has forsaken us. Much of history passed with the God happy with his drink and the continued dedication his followers had for him. But as the world became more advanced and new inventions were created, mankind began to stray away from drinking. The upmost mistake and fault of mankind that surpasses Adam and Eve's fall by the eating of the apple, is the invention of the motor vehicle and its regulations.

Dionysus, at seeing his followers now quit events of drinking due to the regulations of drinking and driving imposed on man by himself, caused him to fill with rage. His most recent and final effect he gave alcohol was the inability to drive. He hated the rules placed on alcohol so much, he would rather see man crash while driving and perish. And every time someone drank less or left a party to drive, he would see it as an offence to his sovran self.
